Ugandan company gains EU approval to export medical cannabis

According to a report on the Daily Monitor, a team from the European Union has approved Uganda’s medical marijuana products, paving the way for Ugandan cannabis growers to tap into the global legal marijuana market. The report states that a team of medical cannabis inspectors from the Netherlands inspected marijuana gardens in Hima, Kasese District, between at the end of July 2019 and issued a year long certificate of compliance to Industrial Globus Uganda Ltd a few days after.
