Learning to fly an aeroplane could be a cool (and expensive) hobby, or something you do perhaps as a career change in the hopes of becoming, you guessed it, a pilot. Well, in Australia, a man was taking his first lesson when his instructor passed out.
After making a distress call, The student Max Sylvester managed to make a perfect landing with assistance from air traffic controllers. In a remarkably calm exchange, air traffic controllers inquired if Max knew how to fly a plane, and repeatedly about the instructor, only to be told he was not responding. The student pilot was left in sole charge of a small aircraft, and he eventually had to land by himself in what was his first lesson in that kind of plane. The incident took place on Saturday evening local time at Jandakot Airport, south of the city of Perth in Western Australia.
The instructor was taken to a local hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition after reportedly experiencing a seizure, according to 9 News.

El instructor fue llevado a un hospital local donde permanece en una condición grave pero estable luego de haber sufrido una convulsión, según 9 News.
