Netflix was filming a show called “The One” in Santa Cruz for three days.
The One is a novel by John Matts, a science fiction story that explores the concept of being able to take a DNA test that will find the perfect person. The novel has been adapted to a series that will be on Netflix but there no date has been announced. There is a lot of interest in the tv series as Netflix is already home of other science fiction programs like Stranger Things and Black Mirror. The Book, The One was successful in it’s own right, and has the romantic element which adding more interest to the production of the series.
Filming on the Island began on Sunday 10 November and included location like the Tenerife Auditorium, and one of the laboratories of the University of La Laguna (ULL).

La novela se ha adaptado a una serie que estará en Netflix pero no se ha anunciado ninguna fecha. Hay mucho interés en la serie de televisión, ya que Netflix ya alberga otros programas de ciencia ficción como Stranger Things y Black Mirror. The Book, The One tuvo éxito por derecho propio, y tiene el elemento romántico que agrega más interés a la producción de la serie.
El rodaje en la isla comenzó el domingo 10 de noviembre e incluyó lugares como el Auditorio de Tenerife y uno de los laboratorios de la Universidad de La Laguna (ULL).
